New innovatively designed state of the art veterinary hospital reborn out of a transformed fireworks warehouse. This is an excellent example of adaptive reuse.
The renovation required for the 6,000 square foot Lake Travis Animal Hospital, transformed the existing metal building by supplementing the existing structure with all new structural bracing to resist wind loads and carry the new limestone exterior and hardi-plank exterior cladding systems.
The existing metal roof remains, but is now equipped with new skylights to provide natural light into the inboard treatment areas.
The interior has been fully renovated, providing seven (7) exam rooms, a surgery suite, an imaging suite, and an isolation suite for contagious animals. Separate entrances for dogs and cats help eliminate stress on pets and pet owners alike.
Near the entrance and waiting area, a Silo provides retail area for food and pet accessories.
