Austin Community College—Riverside Drive Campus

Austin, Texas

Presented with the golf course site of the former Austin Country Club, the Architects were challenged with creating an image for the college as well as much needed educational space. Designed as the first construction project undertaken by the college, the Riverside Drive Campus consists of two Vocational-Technological buildings for instruction in the areas of auto-diesel mechanics & building trades, and an Arts and Sciences building which houses the administration, library, and classrooms, and is the focal point for the campus. The aggregate area is 85,000 sq. ft.
